Looking for a Bitcoin ATM in Jordan? There are more than you might guess. As of 6 October 2026, COINHERO and CoinUnit list five crypto ATMs here between them. Not one sits at the entrance of a big mall. Instead they are spread across a laundromat on Shanghai Street, a claw-machine arcade on Nathan Road, a first-floor spot in Chuang’s London Plaza and two 24-hour self-service laundries on Kwun Chung Street and Woosung Street. In other words, you aren’t looking for a glowing kiosk; you’re looking for a small shop with a laundry sign.
Every figure on this page comes from the operators’ own published machine lists, downloaded and checked on 6 October 2026. We did not visit the sites. A listing doesn’t guarantee a machine is working on the day, so take a quick look at the operator’s page before you set off.
Bitcoin ATMs in Jordan: where they are
The cluster is tight. All five machines lie within roughly 400 metres of the Nathan Road and Jordan Road junction. Kwun Chung Street, Woosung Street and Shanghai Street form the outer edge of the Temple Street night market, busy well into the evening, and that is where most of Jordan’s machines are. The CoinUnit unit on the first floor of Chuang’s London Plaza is the only one on mall hours, 10:00 to 22:00. The other four run around the clock, handy if you finish work late or prefer to avoid a crowd.
COINHERO’s Master Catch site is on the ground floor of Fourseas Building at 208–212 Nathan Road, inside a claw-machine arcade. Arcades have become a favourite with ATM operators for the same reasons laundromats are: long hours, small footprint, steady foot traffic. Worth knowing, though: an SCMP feature in September 2026 warned that these “grey-market” machines in laundromats and arcades can turn users into fraud victims. If anyone on the phone or a messaging app tells you to feed cash into an ATM as an “investment”, it is almost certainly a scam.
Older lists also showed a CoinUnit machine at a storage unit on 263 Temple Street. It is not in the operator’s data as of 6 October 2026. We treat that as “not on today’s list”, not as a confirmed removal.
Fees and how to use a Jordan ATM
The two operators run things differently, so it pays to know the rules before you walk in. COINHERO publishes its fees: 13% plus HK$100 per purchase, cut to 6.5% for registered members. The minimum is HK$500, and the first note you insert must be HK$1,000 or HK$500; after that, HK$100 notes are fine. It sells BTC, ETH, BCH, DOGE and XAUt. CoinUnit doesn’t publish a fee at all. Its FAQ says fees can change at any time and the exact figure appears on the machine’s screen. It takes HK$500 and HK$1,000 notes only, with a HK$500 minimum, and offers BTC, ETH, DOGE, LTC and TRX.
Turning percentages into dollars makes the point. Buy HK$1,000 of Bitcoin at COINHERO and the 13% plus HK$100 adds up to about HK$230, nearly a quarter of the amount. On HK$5,000 it’s about HK$750, or 15%. A licensed platform funded by FPS typically charges under 0.3% per trade. An ATM’s value is speed and minimal paperwork, not price.

Have a wallet ready first. A Bitcoin ATM doesn’t hold coins for you. It sends them straight to a wallet address you provide, usually by scanning a QR code. Get the address wrong and the coins are gone. On a first visit, buy the minimum, confirm it arrives, then decide whether to do more.
Not sure which wallet to use? Start with our crypto wallet guide.
- Open your wallet app
Pick the coin you want (BTC, for example) and bring up its receiving QR code.
- Choose the coin and scan
Check that the address on screen matches your wallet, and note the rate and fee shown.
- Insert notes
At COINHERO the first note must be HK$1,000 or HK$500; CoinUnit takes HK$500 and HK$1,000 only.
- Confirm and keep the receipt
Photograph the receipt or screen and note the transaction ID in case you need to follow up.
Need to sell for cash? Head south
Every machine in Jordan is buy-only. Across Hong Kong, operator lists show just eight machines that buy crypto back, all of them COINHERO. The nearest to Jordan is Laundry Xpress at Tsim Sha Tsui Mansion, 83–97 Nathan Road, open 24 hours and about a kilometre’s walk south along Nathan Road. The other TST unit is on B2 of K11 Art Mall on Hanoi Road, 10:00 to 22:00. COINHERO’s published sell fee is 13% plus HK$25.
CoinUnit machines can’t pay out cash. Instead the operator handles sales through an online “submit a request” form. Heading north instead, COINHERO has another buy-and-sell machine on the second floor of Grand Plaza, 625 and 639 Nathan Road in Mong Kok, open 07:00 to midnight. To compare the real cost of each way out, see our cash-out guide.
USDT and crypto shops near Jordan
Plenty of people search for a USDT exchange shop in Jordan, but we couldn’t find a single staffed crypto counter in Jordan itself on any operator website. One shop on Austin Road, on the Jordan–TST border, circulates on social media; we couldn’t verify it from a reliable source, so it isn’t listed. The nearest counters with operator-published details are in TST: One Satoshi on the ground floor of Chungking Mansions, and VBIT on Humphreys Avenue.
Even if you find a shop, USDT is a different story now. The Stablecoins Ordinance (Cap. 656) took effect on 1 August 2025, and only permitted offerors such as HKMA-licensed issuers, SFC-licensed firms and banks may offer specified stablecoins to the public. In a LegCo reply on 10 September 2025, the government confirmed OTC shops are not permitted offerors. That’s why shops like VBIT now only buy USDT from customers. The coming VA dealer licensing regime has no transitional period either, so unlicensed shops will have to close on day one. For legal ways to get USDT or an HKD stablecoin, see our USDT guide and stablecoin rules.
Jordan is a ‘passing through’ district: five machines cover small cash purchases, but it isn’t somewhere to make a special trip.
If you live here and want a little Bitcoin for cash at 2am, four 24-hour machines are genuinely convenient. To sell, to deal with a person, or to move a larger amount, a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk south to TST opens up far more choice. And if you don’t need cash at all, a licensed platform costs a fraction of any ATM.
Nearby areas and online alternatives
Jordan sits between two busier districts. South is Tsim Sha Tsui, with ten machines (two buy back) and several staffed shops. North is Yau Ma Tei, whose six machines are all in 24-hour laundromats, two of them on Temple Street. A little further on is Mong Kok, Hong Kong’s densest cluster with 16 machines and the shops around 608 Nathan Road. The Bitcoin ATM map shows the whole network, and our crypto exchange shops guide compares the counters.
Online, anyone with a Hong Kong bank account can fund a licensed platform by FPS, such as HashKey Exchange or OSL, at a fraction of ATM cost and under SFC supervision. If you already use Futu, Tiger or ZA Bank, check the crypto features in your bank or broker app. To buy instantly by credit card, an international platform works, as long as you accept there’s no Hong Kong investor protection and your bank may treat the purchase as a cash advance. Can I sell Bitcoin at a Jordan ATM?
No. All five Jordan machines are buy-only. The closest buy-and-sell machine is COINHERO’s unit at Tsim Sha Tsui Mansion, 83–97 Nathan Road, open 24 hours and roughly a kilometre south. Another sits on B2 of K11 Art Mall in TST. The sell fee is 13% plus HK$25.
Do Bitcoin ATMs in Jordan need ID?
COINHERO requires no registration up to HK$100,000 per transaction; above that it asks for email, mobile number, HKID or passport, a selfie and a fingerprint. CoinUnit does not publish a threshold. Either way, you need your own wallet address, because coins are sent straight to it.

Yes. Four of the five machines are listed as open 24 hours, in laundromats and a claw arcade. Only the Chuang’s London Plaza unit keeps mall hours, 10:00 to 22:00. Late at night, stay aware of your surroundings and avoid carrying large amounts of cash.
