If you need a Bitcoin ATM in Tsuen Wan, you’re in the right part of the New Territories. As of 6 October 2026, operator lists put 17 crypto machines across Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung, Kwai Fong and Tsing Yi, more than any other district outside the urban core, plus two staffed crypto shops, Crypto HK and PP Crypto Exchange. COINHERO accounts for eight machines, CoinUnit six and Localcoin two, with One Satoshi adding one more at 18 Tai Ho Road.
All figures come from the operators’ own websites. We haven’t tested the machines on site, and a listed machine isn’t guaranteed to be working today. One gap stands out: for all those machines, not a single one is flagged by its operator as able to buy crypto back.
Tsuen Wan’s two crypto exchange shops
Crypto HK Tsuen Wan is on the first floor of Chuen Fung Centre, 138 Sai Lau Kok Road. Some older listings gave the wrong road name; the operator’s own site now says Sai Lau Kok Road. It opens 11am to 8pm on weekdays and noon to 6pm on Saturdays, closed Sundays and public holidays. According to the operator, cash purchases in Hong Kong dollars, renminbi or US dollars need no appointment; cash sales under HK$100,000 need none either, while larger sales must be booked in advance, and sales paid out by bank transfer start at HK$500,000. Crypto HK is also one of OneKey’s listed authorised resellers in Hong Kong and sells hardware wallets in store. Our Crypto HK review has more.
PP Crypto Exchange Tsuen Wan is in Shop 307 on the third floor of 18 Tai Ho Road, reached from Tsuen Wan station Exit A1 according to the operator, and works by appointment only. PP’s head office is in Prince Edward; it says it has been trading since 2017 and asks for appointments above HK$50,000. The Tsuen Wan branch publishes no walk-in hours, so book before you go.

18 Tai Ho Road: a whole floor of crypto
The third floor of 18 Tai Ho Road is close to being a crypto floor. PP Crypto’s Shop 307, One Satoshi’s ATM in Shop 301, and a Shop 329 machine listed on the long-unmaintained HK Bitcoin ATM website all share the address. Curiously, they don’t agree on the building’s name: PP calls it Emperor Plaza (地皇廣場), while One Satoshi and HK Bitcoin ATM call it T Mark. We couldn’t confirm whether it has been renamed, so go by the street number when you get there.
One Satoshi’s unit is an unattended machine, not one of its staffed counters. Its hours are shorter than a laundromat machine’s but longer than most shops: noon to 10pm on weekdays and 11am to 11pm at weekends. The ATM page doesn’t state a fee, so check the screen; its staffed counters elsewhere are covered in our One Satoshi review, and laundromat-machine fees in the COINHERO and CoinUnit reviews. As for HK Bitcoin ATM’s Shop 329, the site’s footer still reads 2018; we don’t count it, and wouldn’t make a special trip.

Having a shop and a machine on the same floor lets you compare: check the quote on the ATM screen, ask the shop for its price, then decide.
Neither is supervised by the SFC, though, and both set their own prices.
Tsuen Wan town centre: eight Bitcoin ATMs
Apart from One Satoshi’s unit, all eight machines in Tsuen Wan town are in 24-hour laundromats, spread around Tai Pei Square, Hau Tei Square, Sha Tsui Road, Sai Lau Kok Road, Tsuen Fu Street, Tsuen Wah Street and Riviera Gardens. Addresses are copied as each operator publishes them; MTR exits appear only where the operator gives one.
CoinUnit’s machine at 206 Sai Lau Kok Road is on the same street as Crypto HK at No. 138, a few minutes’ walk apart. If you want to check a machine’s quote and then compare it with a shop, that stretch is the easiest route in the district.
For a late-night visit, all seven laundromat machines in the town centre run 24 hours, more choice than anywhere else in the New Territories; One Satoshi’s unit closes at 10pm on weekdays and 11pm at weekends. Neither shop opens in the evening: Crypto HK closes at 8pm on weekdays and all day Sunday. At night you can buy but not sell, and there’s nobody to ask, so if a machine swallows a note or the coins don’t arrive, the operator hotline is your only recourse. Keep the receipt.
Kwai Chung and Kwai Fong: seven machines
Kwai Fong Plaza has two COINHERO machines: a 24-hour LaundryUp in Shop 8 on the ground floor, and ID House in Shop A87B, which keeps shop hours of 10am to 9pm. Across Kwai Yi Road, Kwai Fong Terrace has a CoinUnit unit. Kwai Chung’s other four are spread across Wo Yi Hop Road, Wo Tong Tsui Street, Cheong Wai Mansion and Kwai Shing East Shopping Centre, all open 24 hours.
Tsing Yi: two machines
Only two machines remain on Tsing Yi. COINHERO’s numbering starts at “Tsing Yi #3”, with #1 and #2 missing from today’s list, which suggests the operator has removed earlier sites. Localcoin’s kiosk sits inside a Tsui Hing Lau shop on the fourth floor of Cheung Fat Plaza and is open only 10:30am to 8:30pm.
Tsing Yi is the interchange for the Tung Chung line and Airport Express. Tung Chung itself has no machines at all, so for residents there the nearest options are on Tsing Yi or in Tsuen Wan; see Tung Chung and the airport.
Selling in Tsuen Wan: a shop counter or a trip to Tuen Mun
Seventeen machines, and none of them buys back. To turn crypto into cash, the most direct option in the district is Crypto HK’s Tsuen Wan shop, which takes cash sales below HK$100,000 without an appointment. If you’d rather use a machine, the two nearest buy-back units are COINHERO Tuen Mun #3, Shop 94, G/F, Man Bo Building, 2 Tsing Hoi Circuit (24 hours), and Grand Plaza 2/F, 625 and 639 Nathan Road, Mong Kok (7am to midnight). Both charge 13% plus HK$25 to sell. See Tuen Mun and Mong Kok.
Tsuen Wan’s problem isn’t a lack of places to buy. It’s how easy it is to do large deals in cash.
Any cash trade above HK$100,000, at any shop, means walking around with a lot of money. Between December 2025 and March 2026, Sheung Wan and Mong Kok saw several robberies and an attack linked to money changers and crypto shops. For big amounts, a bank transfer through a licensed platform, or a licensed firm’s OTC desk, is the safer route.
If you don’t actually need cash, selling on a licensed exchange and withdrawing to your bank usually costs far less than 13%; our cash-out guide compares the options, and large trades are covered on the OTC desk page.
Online routes
As of October 2026 the SFC lists 13 licensed virtual-asset trading platforms. HashKey Exchange and OSL take HKD by FPS or eDDA and keep client assets with an associated custodian. See the full SFC-licensed platforms list, and compare ZA Bank, Mox, Futu and Tiger on bank and broker apps.
To pay instantly by card or Apple Pay, international platforms such as CEX.IO are an option: Hong Kong is not on its unsupported-jurisdictions list, but it is not SFC-licensed, offers no HKD or FPS deposits, and your bank may code the purchase as a cash advance. Check any platform against the SFC’s licensed list before you sign up, and verify hardware-wallet sellers on OneKey’s reseller list. For shops across the city, see crypto exchange shops.

Two. Crypto HK is at Shop 78, 1/F, Chuen Fung Centre, 138 Sai Lau Kok Road, open weekdays and Saturdays, and PP Crypto Exchange is at Shop 307, 3/F, 18 Tai Ho Road, by appointment only. Neither is SFC-licensed, because no licence for walk-in shops exists yet. Compare shops in our crypto shop guide.
Can I buy USDT in Tsuen Wan?
Not lawfully from a walk-in shop. Since 1 August 2025, the Stablecoins Ordinance has restricted offers of specified stablecoins to licensed parties, and the government has said OTC shops are not permitted offerors. None of the 17 machines is flagged for USDT either. For lawful routes, see our USDT guide.
Can I sell Bitcoin for cash in Tsuen Wan?
Not at a machine: none of the 17 buys back. Crypto HK’s Tsuen Wan shop accepts cash sales, with no appointment below HK$100,000. The nearest buy-back machines are COINHERO Tuen Mun #3 at 2 Tsing Hoi Circuit (24 hours) and Grand Plaza, Mong Kok (7am–midnight), each charging 13% plus HK$25 to sell.
What is at 18 Tai Ho Road?
Its third floor is a small crypto hub: PP Crypto Exchange in Shop 307 (appointment only), a One Satoshi ATM in Shop 301, and a Shop 329 listing on the stale HK Bitcoin ATM website. PP calls the building Emperor Plaza (地皇廣場); One Satoshi calls it T Mark. Check the signage on arrival in case it has been renamed.
